Financier who became the chief executive officer of Marvel Entertainment on January 1, 2005. He owned Marvel Toys and Remington Products and was estimated to be worth $3.1 billion in March 2014.

He moved to the United States after serving in the Israeli Army during 1967's Six-Day War.

He sold beauty products on the streets of New York City and never attended college.

He married Laura Perlmutter, who he met at a Catskills resort.

He remained CEO of Marvel Entertainment after The Walt Disney Company acquisitioned it in 2009.
