ABOUT J BOOGIE

Eclectic DJ and producer whose band, J Boogie's Dubtronic Science, incorporates elements of electronica, jazz, and dub music. He has served as the Hip Hop Curator for Pandora Media. He has released 4 full-length solo albums since 2003.

He began deejaying in 1991 and got his start in college radio at KUSF.

He has built a huge fan base in the Bay Area of California, having been named San Francisco's Best Club DJ by SF Weekly. He has played in an array of venues, from packed festivals to intimate clubs. By May of 2022, his Spotify audience had grown to reach over 40,000 monthly listeners. He has worked with Om Records, out of San Francisco.

His real name is Justin Boland. He and his wife are parents to twins; a girl and a boy.

He worked with rapper Talib Kweli on the song "Mood Swing."
