ABOUT JAAK URMET
Award-winning Estonian novelist, editor, and poet who published under the pseudonym of Wimberg. His best-known works include the autobiographical poetry collection Maaaraamat and the postmodernist novel Lipamae.
He studied philology, history, and literary theory at the Tallinn Pedagogical University.
His 2002 novel, Lipamae, was awarded the Virumaa prize for literature.
He was born and raised in Saku, Estonia.
He is a contemporary of American writer Michael Chabon .
