ABOUT JACK LOWE

British photographer known for his Victorian-style pictures, which he does through Wet Plate Collodion. He's also worked professionally as a retoucher and printmaker. His work can be found on his MrJackLowe X account.

He first started taking pictures when he was nine years old, having been gifted a camera from his grandmother.

He's a member of the Royal Nation Lifeboat Institution and founded Project Lifeboat, which involves traveling to the 237 RNLI stations in the UK and Ireland and photographing them, using an old ship as his darkroom.

He hails from Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

He and Joe McNally are both well-known British photographers.
