Jack Shepherd
ABOUT JACK SHEPHERD
Movie and TV actor who was recognized for his performance in the detective drama Wycliffe. He also played Renfield in the 1977 film Count Dracula. In 2007, he played Master in the movie adaptation of The Golden Compass .
He studied Fine Arts at King's College, Newcastle, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree. He debuted in the 1969 film, All Neat Black Stockings.
He was one of the principal founders of the Drama Centre London. He has amassed more than 110 acting credits throughout his long career.
His daughter Catherine Shepherd became an actress.
He directed a production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona, starring Mark Rylance , at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
