ABOUT JACK WILKINS
Guitarist who has played with artists like Stanley Turrentine and Jimmy Heath , among others.
He started taking guitar lessons when he was a child and became dedicated to the instrument while in his teens.
He was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for his work with the guitar.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn.
He taught classes at New School University, where songwriter Mike Doughty once studied.
