ABOUT JACKIE VENSON

American blues artist, musician, entertainer, and performer who ultimately rose to fame after winning the Modern Southern Music competition in the year 2014. That same year, she released her debut studio album The Light in Me.

She studied composition and studio production at Berklee College of Music .

She created a guitar course called Electric Joy for the TrueFire platform. In November of 2020, she performed on PBS's Austin City Limits. In the year 2019, she released her critically acclaimed sophomore album, Joy, which earned a spot on Pop Magazine's list of Best Albums of 2019.

Her father is also a musician. She grew up with eight siblings.

She has opened for Jason Aldean , Melissa Etheridge , and Tim McGraw .
