ABOUT JAIME BARRIA

Professional pitcher that was signed by the Los Angeles Angels as an international free agent in 2013. He was selected to represent the World team during the 2017 All-Star Futures Game. He made history becoming the first Panama-born pitcher in Angels' franchise history.

He began his professional career playing for the Angels' rookie affiliate team the DSL Angels.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Texas Rangers on April 11, 2018.

He lives with his wife, Adrianys Rodriguez, and their daughter April.

Besides Rod Carew , he is the only other Panamanian player in Angels franchise history.
