Television and film actor best known for playing Rogelio de la Vega on the CW series Jane the Virgin . He's had leading roles in telenovelas such as Mujer de Madera, La Fea Más Bella and Por Ella Soy Eva .
He studied business administration at Universidad Anáhuac.
His role in 7 Dias earned him a Mexican Cinema Journalists Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2006. He released an album called Para Estar Contigo.
He married Heidi Balvanera in 2013, and he has two children named Elena and Jaime III. His sister is actress Issabela Camil .
He dubbed voices for the Spanish edition of Bee Movie, which starred Jerry Seinfeld .
