ABOUT JAIME HAYóN

Spanish multimedia artist who is known for his work in furniture design, sculpture, and illustration. He has been awarded several distinctions as an artist including Best Installation by Icon Magazine and the Elle Deco International Award in both 2006 and 2012. He shares his design works and artistic creations through Instagram for his over 900,000 followers.

He studied industrial design in Madrid and Paris before he joined Fabrica, the design and communication academy in Italy. He went on to set up his own studio in 2000 and from 2003 onward, he has pursued his own personal projects. His first major exhibition was entitled "Mediterranean Digital Baroque" which was held at London's David Fill Gallery.

He is known for having created and designed furniture for several danish companies including Fritz, Hansen, Magis, and Established and Sons. He is also known for having released his first collection of watches for the Swiss brand Orolog.

He was born and raised in Madrid, Spain.

He posted a photo of himself with professional chef Massimo Bottura to his Instagram in June of 2018.
