ABOUT JAKE IRVIN

Right-handed pitcher that was drafted by the Washington Nationals during the fourth round of the 2018 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Oklahoma . During his sophomore season, he was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.

He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota. As a senior, he was named a finalist for Minnesota's Mr. Baseball.

He was originally selected by the Minnesota Twins with the 1,100th pick during the 2015 MLB Draft. However, he decided not to sign with his hometown team.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Bloomington, Minnesota. He is one of four siblings.

He is a former Oklahoma collegiate athlete just like Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield .
