ABOUT JALEN THOMPSON

Veteran NFL safety that was originally selected by the Arizona Cardinals as a fifth round pick in the 2019 NFL supplemental draft. Just three years later, he was signed by the Cardinals on a multi-year $40 million contract. As a sophomore at Washington State University , he was named a member of the second team All-PAC 12.

He was a two-sport athlete while at Downey High School. In addition to playing football, he also ran track while in high school.

He recorded the second most tackles by a defensive back during the 2021 NFL regular season with 120. He finished just four tackles shy of Minkah Fitzpatrick that season. He stands 5'11" tall and weighs close to 200 pounds.

Although he was born in Compton, he grew up living with his family in Paramount, California. He is the youngest of three brothers.
