ABOUT JAMES ABANKWAH

Irish defender known for playing with the soccer club St. Patrick's Athletic F.C. In 2021, he signed with the Italian team Udinese Calcio in Serie A.

He started out with his hometown Melview FC. He joined the St. Patrick's Athletic F.C. at the U-15 level before moving up to the U-19 level. He was promoted to the senior team in 2021.

He was the youngest person to win the FAI Cup at the age of 17.

He was born in Longford, Ireland. His brother Issac played with Burnley in the English Premier League.

He and Pat Fenlon both played with the St. Patrick's Athletic F.C.
