ABOUT JAMES LYNCH

Defensive tackle who was an unanimous first-team All-American following his junior college football season for the Baylor University Bears in 2019. He was also named to the first-team all-Big 12 before declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft.

He played high school football at Round Rock High School in Texas. He originally committed to play college football for Texas Christian University , then for University of Southern California , before ultimately choosing Baylor.

He was taken by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year following his 2019 junior season for Baylor.

His dad Tim played college football for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln .

He recorded his first career NFL sack as a rookie with the Minnesota Vikings on quarterback Russell Wilson in October 2020.
