ABOUT JAMES MCARTHUR

Right-handed pitcher that was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies during the 12th round of the 2018 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Mississippi . While at Ole Miss, he was three times named to the All-SEC Academic Honor Roll team.

He first began his career playing for the GCL Phillies. He was then sent to the Williamsport Crosscutters.

While in college, he was a Civil Engineering major. He was once featured at ESPN's Student Athlete of the Week.

He grew up living with his parents in New Braunfels, Texas. He is one of four siblings.

He was selected during the 2018 MLB Draft just like Casey Mize .
