ABOUT JAMES MCFADDEN
Scottish soccer coach and former player who gained fame playing for Motherwell as a forward. He won the Scottish PFA Young Player of the Year award in 2003. He coached the Scottish National team as well.
He joined the Motherwell Youth Team in high school and made his first-team debut at the age of 17.
He has received several honors throughout his career including the Birmingham City Football League Cup: 2010-2011, The Scotland Kirin Cup: 2006, and the SFWA International Player of the Year: 2007-2008.
He married Gillian McFadden in 2007.
He and Steve Clarke have coached the Scotland National Team.
