ABOUT JAMIE BURKE

Former MLB catcher who retired in 2010 and served as manager of the Cedar Rapids Kernels; became manager of the Burlington Bees in 2013.

He attended Oregon State University where he played on the baseball team and was also the football team's kicker.

He played for the Chicago White Sox from 2003 until 2005, for a total of 73 games.

He was born and raised in Roseburg, Oregon.

He played alongside Paul Konerko on the White Sox from 2003 to 2005.
