At the young age of 17, he was the youngest winner of the North American Rock Guitar Competition.

At the young age of 19, he moved to Los Angeles. He has produced music for a wide number of channels and television platforms including Fox Sports, A&E, and Spike TV. He has amassed more than 240,000 subscribers on his Jamie Robinson channel.

His grandfather bought him his first guitar when he was about eight years old.
