ABOUT JAMIR WATKINS

NBA shooting guard that was acquired by the Washington Wizards via a trade-and-swap with the Utah Jazz in 2025. Prior to being drafted, he played college basketball at Virginia Commonwealth University and Florida State University . During his final season at Florida State, he earned second team All-ACC honors.

He is a graduate of the Trenton Catholic Academy. At the time, he was considered a three-star recruit.

He scored his 1,000th career point at Florida State in only 60 games played. In the process of doing so, he became the 11th fastest player in Florida State program history to achieve this feat.

He grew up living with his family in Trenton, New Jersey. He is the oldest of two siblings.

He is a former Florida State collegiate athlete just like Buster Posey .
