ABOUT JAN TENNANT

Canadian television journalist most known as the anchor of The Saturday Evening News at 6pm.

After graduating from the University of Toronto, she worked as a secretary and script assistant at CBC.

She left CBC for the Global Television Network.

Following her 1988 retirement, she continued to do freelance work.

Saturday Night Live creator and producer Lorne Michaels also attended the University of Toronto.
