ABOUT JAN VOINOV
A popping and locking dancer from the Kyrgyz Republic, he is known due to his chops in dance battles. He has competed and performed at World of Dance, Hip Hop International, among others. He has also been featured in a variety of commercials and music videos.
He posted his first video of himself locking in 2011. After that he became increasingly popular at dance battles, where he performed his iconic popping and locking moves.
In 2015 he was part the team at Movement Dance Academy, which opened the biggest dance studio in all of Kyrgyzstan. He teaches master classes there.
His mother is Assol Moldokmatova, a television personality, actress, and blogger. He has a younger brother.
The dancer he admires most is the winner of the eighth season of America's Got Talent Kenichi Ebina .
