The first Slovenian fighter to hold a world title, and IBF Welterweight Champion from December 2009-December 2011.
He graduated from the Faculty for Physical Education in Serbia in 2006.
He was named Slovenian Sportsman of the Year for 2010.
He has daughters named Ivona and Tija.
He lost his IBF Welterweight World title to Andre Berto on September 9, 2011.
