ABOUT JANAGA
Armenian singer, vocalist, entertainer, composer, performer, musician, artist, songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist who has become widely regarded for a wide assortment of popular and hit tracks such as "On the Brink," "Essentially," and "No One is Needed."
Prior to launching his career as an artist, he worked as a military doctor. After accepting the realization that he could not endure without music, he decided to make his professional debut in 2019, with the release of his single "Notes."
He was honored with a Best International Artist nomination from the 2020 Grammy Awards. His single "Tears Running Down My Face" maintained its place in the Top Radio Hits chart for over 21 consecutive weeks. His original sound has often been classified within the ethnic hip-hop genre; however, he has also been widely hailed for his unparalleled blend of international harmonies.
He was born Gevorg Aghajanyan. He officially adopted the stage name JANAGA in 2019.
He and Gabriel Jeeg are both celebrated singer-songwriters who hail from Armenia.
