ABOUT JARED LEE
American cartoonist who has illustrated over 80 books for young readers including when he collaborated with author Mike Thaler on the Black Lagoon series which became a best-seller.
He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The John Herron Art Institute in Indianapolis in 1966.
He was one of six illustrators to create the first group of Happy Meal boxes at McDonalds.
He has two daughters, Jana and Jennifer with his wife, PJ.
He collaborated with Carson Kressley on the 2005 book You're Different and That's Super.
