ABOUT JAY KRISTOFF

Australian novelist who found fame as the writer of the Japanese steampunk young adult book series The Lotus War. He concluded the series in 2014 and followed it up with another successful series, Illuminae Files.

He was a big fan of tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons growing up.

His novella The Last Stormdancer earned him the Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy Short Fiction in 2013.

He has been married.

In 2015, it was announced that Plan B, the studio owned by Brad Pitt , purchased the film rights to Illuminae Files.
