ABOUT JAY NIXON

Politician and Democrat who became the 55th Governor of Missouri in 2009. He also served the state as it's Attorney General.

He earned a law degree from the University of Missouri.

His victory in the U.S. Supreme Court case of Nixon v. Shrink Missouri Government PAC reinstated Missouri's campaign contribution limits and cleared the way nationally for campaign finance reform.

He has two children with his wife Georganne Nixon.

He is a supporter of politician Ron Paul .
