ABOUT JAY ROX

Zambian emcee and producer who became known as a member of the hip hop group the Zone Fam, who rose to fame after the release of their debut single "Shaka Zulu On Em." He's also enjoyed success as a solo artist and producer, ranking at number 40 in the Beatport Mix Top 100.

He and Zone Fam originally formed in 2009.

He and Zone Fam were named Best African Group at the Global African Music Awards.

He was born Jackson Banda, but he goes by the stage name Jay Rox.

He was named the "one to watch" by DJ Laidback Luke .
