ABOUT JAYLON TYSON

NBA small forward, basketball player, and athlete that was originally taken by the Cleveland Cavaliers as a first round pick in the 2024 NBA draft. Prior to being drafted, he played collegiate basketball at UC Berkeley . As a redshirt junior at U-Cal, he was named a member of the first team All-PAC 12.

He initially began his collegiate basketball career at the University of Texas . He later transferred to Texas Tech University .

He scored a collegiate career-high 30 points twice while at Cal. That season, he made history after becoming just one of two players to average 19.6 points, 6.8 rebounds with 3.5 assists. He stands six feet, seven inches tall, and weighs about 215 pounds.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Plano, Texas. He is one of three brothers.
