Entrepreneur known for building a multimillion-dollar sneaker empire. In 2019, his Urban Necessities resale outlet brought in more than $20 million in sales. His story was told in an episode of ESPN's The Undefeated series titled "Sole Survivor." He has amassed more than 430,000 followers on his twojskicks account.
Prior to achieving financial success, he used to dumpster dive and panhandle on the Las Vegas Strip.
He worked at an AT&T store. In his early attempt at sneaker reselling, he purchased 18 pairs of the "Area 72" Nike Barkley Posite Max 2013 release. He flipped all but one pair to the tune of $3000 profit.
He spent the first six months after moving to Nevada in 2000 homeless. He and his wife Joanie Barangan co-owned Urban Necessities.
He and Benjamin Kapelushnik are both entrepreneurs who trade sneakers.
