Jean Krier

ABOUT JEAN KRIER

Luxembourgish poet who published his award-winning work, Herzens Lust Spiele, in 2010. His other literary works include Gefundenes Fressen and Bretonische Inseln.

He studied English and German literature in the city of Freiburg, Germany.

He received both the Adelbert von Chamisso Prize and the Servais Prize for Herzens Lust Spiele.

He was raised in Luxembourg City. He died just days after his sixty-fourth birthday.

He was a contemporary of German-born poet Andrea Budy .
