Quarterback who took on the starting role for the University of Florida Gators during the 2012 season.

He was the Gatorade Player of the Year during his senior season at Paul. J. Hagerty High School.

He was selected 863rd overall by the Boston Red Sox in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.

He was raised with a younger brother named Jason.

He became the starter for Florida a few seasons after Tim Tebow left his stamp on the program.
