ABOUT JEMERSON
Professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Atlético Mineiro. He had previously played for Ligue 1 side FC Metz. He has played for the Brazil national team.
He joined Confiança's youth team in the year 2009. In the following year, he joined Atlético Mineiro's youth setup. He made his senior debut for the team in the year 2012.
In June of 2017, he was selected to play for the national team in a friendly match against Australia. He also played in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Peru. He is a shade over 6' tall.
He is married to his wife Débora Nascimento. Together, they have two children.
In December of 2022, he posted a photo slideshow on his thejemerson Instagram account. It featured pictures of legendary soccer player Pelé .
