J.J. Culver
ABOUT J.J. CULVER
Forward who played college basketball at Wayland Baptist University. He later turned pro and would play for such teams as Rasta Vechta II in the Pro B North league in Germany.
He attended Coronado High School in Texas.
He majored in religion and minored in psychology.
He is from Lubbock, Texas. His younger brother Jarrett Culver was a first round NBA pick. His oldest brother competed for the Texas Tech University track and field team in the high jump. His father, Hiawatha Culver Jr, was the Texas Tech team chaplain.
He's cited NBA star Stephen Curry as a role model.
