He co-founded Alphabet City Sports Records with Kenny Dichter in 1996.

His first single "Shake It Like A White Girl" hit #74 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1991 and was featured in the 2004 movie White Chicks.

His parents are named Daniel and Elese. He married the billionaire founder of Spanx Sara Blakely in 2008.

Vanessa Carlton was also featured on the soundtrack of White Chicks for her song "A Thousand Miles."
