ABOUT JI-TU CUMBUKA
Actor who appeared in films such as Harlem Nights, Brewster's Millions, and Out of Bounds. His television credits include The A-Team, Walker, Texas Ranger, and The Dukes of Hazzard.
He ran track and played football in the Army, before studying at Texas Southern and Columbia College. He earned a B.A. in theatre and a M.A. in cinematography.
In 1979, he co-starred with Robert Conrad on a short-lived spy series A Man Called Sloane.
He was raised by a Baptist minister who thought acting was the work of the devil.
He portrayed former NBA player Oscar Robertson in the drama Maurie.
