ABOUT JI-YOUNG YOO
Actress, entertainer, performer, and artist who played the role of Mercy in the Amazon Prime mini-series Expats. She also voiced the character Lee Eun Yoo in the South Korean web series Sweet Home. She was also in the 2024 film Freaky Tales and the 2023 film Smoking Tigers.
She learned Korean in her junior year of high school. She attended the University of Southern California and majored in Cinema and Media Studies while there before finding fame as a professional actress and performer.
She was in films like 2021's Moxie and 2022's The Sky Is Everywhere. She also worked on the murder mystery podcast Solve.
Her parents were Korean migrants.
She starred alongside Nicole Kidman and Sarayu Blue in Expats.
