ABOUT JIMMY LAMBERT

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Chicago White Sox during the fifth round of the 2016 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Fresno State University where he was a named Mountain West Conference Co-Pitcher of the Year in 2016.

He began his professional baseball career playing for the AZL White Sox rookie affiliate team. He was later promoted to the Kannapolis Intimidators.

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Minnesota Twins on July 25, 2020. He recorded his first career save that night.

He grew up living with his family in Arcadia, California. His brother, Peter Lambert , is also a professional pitcher.

He has played alongside Tim Anderson and José Abreu as a member of the White Sox during his professional career.
