ABOUT JIMMY MARTIN
Bluegrass musician who was an International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor inductee in 1995.
He said in his memoir he learned to play bluegrass guitar from an old hillbilly.
His musical career was held back due to his explosive temper.
He grew up in Sneedville, Tennessee.
He teamed up with Bill Monroe , becoming the lead singer of the Bluegrass Boys.
