ABOUT JIRO KONAMI

Japanese photographer who is known for his commercial works, urban landscape photography, and experimental cityscapes. He shares his photography through Instagram for his over 90,000 followers and has also released several photo books featuring his works.

He attended Tokyo Polytechnic University where he majored in Photography. He then worked as a research student and in 2006 participated in his first group exhibition. In 2009, he held his first solo exhibition in the UK.

He has earned several awards and honors for his photography including the Shu Uemura Prize at the Art Awards Tokyo in 2010 as well as the Fuji Photo Salon New Face Prize in 2009.

He was born in Tokyo, Japan.

He photographed professional skateboarder Sean Pablo featuring the AKIRA/Supreme collaboration shirt in October of 2017.
