Brazilian actor known for his Australian TV series Surviving Summer as Marlon Sousa. He appeared in 10 episodes of the series in 2022. He has published cast member photos under joaogabmarinho on his Instagram account, as well as updates about his acting career.
When he was 8-years old, he would create shows featuring his drums for his family to watch. As a teen growing up near the Brazilian beaches, he developed a passion for surfing and ocean fishing.
He believed he had his big break when he was cast in a series that was soon shuttered because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than let it deter him, he kept auditioning until he got another role to replace it.
He grew up in the beach communities of Rio de Janeiro where he and his family spent much of their time together.
His cast mates from Surviving Summer include Sky Katz and Lilliana Bowrey .
