ABOUT JOANNE KING
Irish actress who played Cyd on the BBC's television show Casualty and portrayed Jane Boleyn in the Showtime series The Tudors. In 2023, she played Karen in the series Northern Lights.
She studied at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin before moving to London.
She opened a charitable cafe in Bristol, which sent all its proceeds to cancer care and research. She has appeared in more than 80 episodes of television throughout her ongoing career.
She was born the second of four children to her father, Ronan, and her mother, Edel.
She co-starred with Henry Cavill in the television series The Tudors.
