Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Texas Rangers during the 11th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Rangers' rookie affiliate team the AZL Rangers.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Salt Lake Community College where he pitched and played catcher.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Oakland Athletics on June 24, 2021.

He is a native of Riverton, Utah.

He was born in the state of Utah, just like Brendon Urie and Chrissy Teigen .
