ABOUT JOE BOYLE

Professional starting pitcher that was originally taken by the Cincinnati Reds as a fifth rounder in the 2020 Major League Baseball Draft. A few years later, he was then acquired by the Oakland Athletics via trade in 2023. He has also pitched within the Tampa Bay Rays organization during his MLB career.

He previously played college baseball at the University of Notre Dame . He played baseball there for three seasons.

He made his official major league debut while playing against the San Diego Padres on September 17, 2023. He recorded four strikeouts in three innings pitched.

He grew up living with his parents and his brother Nick. He is one of two siblings.

He was once packaged in a trade that also included Jeffrey Springs .
