ABOUT JOE DALE
Played outside right for Witton Albion, Manchester United, and Port Vale, primarily in the 1940s.
He had a successful youth career in Northwich, England.
He joined Manchester United in 1947, but only played two games before he was bought by Port Vale.
He was born and raised in Northwich, near where he eventually played his senior career soccer.
He had a very brief career for a Manchester United team that would later by popularized by manager Alex Ferguson .
