He was named one of the top 25 defensive ends in the country by Rivals.com after his senior season at Pleasant Grove High School.
His NFL debut was put on hold after sustaining a season-ending injury in the preseason of his rookie year.
His brother Paul and Dave have both played football at the NFL level.
He is the brother of fellow NFL linebacker Paul Kruger .
