ABOUT JOHAN KARLGREN
Conceptual and urban street artist known for his 8-bit styled pixel art creations made from Perler beads. His work is often inspired by pop culture figures and references and can be found all over the streets of Sweden. He shares photos of his art for his over 600,000 Instagram followers.
He first began sharing his unique artworks to Instagram in April of 2014.
He runs an online shop at pappasparlor.bigcartel.com where he sells a range of different original pieces. Some are alterations of classic landscape portraits featuring his 8-bit pixelated additions while others are common objects altered with his unique style as well.
He was born and raised in Sweden.
He has created pixelated portraits in his unique style of different celebrities and cultural icons including Jack Nicholson , Donald Trump , and Samuel L. Jackson .
