Professional defenseman who was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers during the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Pittsburgh Penguins via trade in July 2019. He has garnered more than 30,000 Instagram followers.

He played collegiate hockey at Harvard University .

He made his NHL debut playing against the Winnipeg Jets on October 8, 2019. In July of 2022, he was traded to the New Jersey Devils .
