ABOUT JOHN ULYSSES MOBLEY

Former NFL linebacker who spent eight seasons playing for the Denver Broncos . He played college football for Kutztown University.

Due to family trouble, he wasn't academically qualified to play ball for a Division I school.

He ran into a teammate during the 2003 season and sustained a bruised spinal column.

He grew up with eight other siblings. His parents divorced when he was 13, and he lived with his father for the next three years. When he was 16, his father suffered a debilitating stroke. He went to live with his mother, who insisted that he leave school and work to help support the family. He ended up homeless and living out of a car until a friend's family took him in. His cousin is Cuttino Mobley .

He played against Brett Favre at Superbowl XXXII.
