ABOUT JOHN RAITT

American musical theater performer who appeared on Broadway in Carousel, The Pajama Game, and Three Wishes for Jamie.

He performed in school theatrical productions and was also a track star at his Fullerton, California high school.

He was honored with a Theatre World Award in 1945 for his performance in Carousel.

He married his third wife and former high school love when he was in his mid-sixties.

His daughter, Bonnie Raitt , became a well-known country singer and songwriter.
