ABOUT JOHN-ROBERT RIMEL
Guitarist, singer, and songwriter who appeared on Ellen when he was 13 years old. He gained even more fame towards the end of 2014 when he was featured on the Matty B track "I Just Wanna Love You."
He was 2 years old when he first started singing. When he was about 9 years old, his parents recognized he had a special talent.
He has performed at several types of local events in Virginia, including the Shenandoah County Fair and the Shenandoah Jamboree Show, and at local churches and sporting events. He earned a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music for vocal performance.
He was born and raised in The Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. He is the oldest of 4 siblings.
He performed an a capella cover of Andy Grammer 's "Keep Your Head Up" at the 2011 Convocation in front of a packed Central High School gym.
